I have lived vicaresly thru your adventures in Hawaii, and now Germany. When you first moved to Hawaii, I thought” Oh, my goodness, I could never leave my friends, family, and most importantly my daughter and grandson.” Then it happened, I fell in love with the husband I have now. And I had that decision. He lived in Washington State, and I still lived in the Mid-South. How could we have a relationship 2500 miles away? And I thought of you and your move to Hawaii. Well, if Teresa could do it, I could too. So, like you I either sold or gave away a lot of stuff, and in a Mini-Van, with all my possions loaded into 8 copy paper boxes, I moved to Washington State. And you know what? It was the best thing I had ever done. So, I want to thank you, for making me realize that I have to live my life the way I want to, and I can do it.
I’m going back “Home” next week for 1 week. My daughter finally graduates from College, and I will be having a get-together with some of the people from High School. As it will still be “Home”, my home now is in Washington.
Can’t wait to read about of your adventures. Maybe we can have our 40th in Germany, instead of Hawaii.

Change is never easy, and sometimes just making the decision can be so frustrating and cause such anxiety that we give up before we even try. You are to be commended for getting past the decision making and going for it!! Happy for YOU!
By 2019, I’ll likely be back in Hawaii, or maybe Italy or maybe Greece 🙂 Who knows? But we can certainly have our 40th wherever I land! If you make it to Germany, let me know. Until then, auf wiedersehen!
