One of the ports of call on our cruise was Olympia Greece – home of the Olympics. We were able to see where the original games were played, the huge vats used for olive oil to put on the athletes’ bodies, the rings where the gladiators practiced and trained. It’s all ruins now but they have pictures and 3D images that show you what it looked like. So much history and hidden stories.
